I was introduced to the "Dog World" about 1965 when my Mum & Dad bought a Maltese from "Sparrows In The Treetops" Maltese kennels. I showed Mum's Malts for a while before acquiring my first Maltese. He was a gorgeous boy named "VICMAR VIKING" (I called him KYM). He soon became an Australian Champion. I then acquired another boy named "WALINGAY LONE STAR" (I called him LONNY) that Mum bred. He did a lot of winning in the show ring and very quickly he also became an Australian Champion (in fact he became an Australian GRAND Champion before the title became official!!!). I then progressed into breeding and made up a few more Australian Champions. After many years in the Maltese Club of Victoria holding several positions (including Secretary for about 8 years. I was eventually, also President for a couple of years), I was made a Life Member. In 1976. I eventually acquired my first Golden Retriever. From then on I have had a bit of success with this breed, especially when I acquired my very handsome boy 'NISTAR MIDAS TOUCH" from Michelle Strain. He was such a pleasure to own & show. He very quickly gained the title "AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION". He was the pride of my kennels. He did so much winning for me and his name can be found on many, many pedigrees. He is very much missed. I loved him soooo much. (His picture can be found in my "Rainbow Bridge" page). During this time, I fell in love with a black & tan Cavalier (Chamanic Centaurus was his name). In the year 1998 I was given my first 2 Cavaliers - Shannon (black & tan) & Rosie (ruby)(brother & sister) from Bev Walker (Glanor Kennels). That is where I started with this absolutely gorgeous breed and I have LOVED them ever since. I no longer have any Maltese (but I still love this breed). I now concentrate on the Golden Retrievers and the Cavaliers. Please enjoy your tour through my site. I enjoyed putting it together (with the help of Jan Kelly - thanks so very much, Jan).
